how do i get this to work properly on a tomtom go 710? as i tried it and i seemed the same as version 9.701

i expected the layout menu and other features to be the same as the tomtom trafic 7000

It all depends on the emu that the navcore is set for. The X20 emu looks different from the X30 emu, which looks different from the X40 emu etc.

Look in Main Menu, TomTom Services.

Replace your current ttsystem file with this one. Is TomTom Services still missing?

Download this setconfig.txt file. [Please Register or Login to download file]
Copy it to the root of your unit. reboot. Does this help? If no, open the setconfig file & change modelid:37 to read, modelid:24
reboot. Any help? If no, open the setconfig file & change modelid:24 to read, modelid:25. Reboot Any help? If no, open the setconfig file & change modelid:25 to read, modelid:18. Reboot. Any help?
