first of all, thank you for sharing your work
I have a TomTom ONE XL (sn: L2...) and I confirm that also TMC is correctly working, but I have problems with GPS signal since after 1hour outside in open sky I only get 1-2 satellites
App 9.702 / GPS 1.20 / BL 5.5279
thanks for help

You must have
mctx.dat file in root TT
files Tmccodes.dat and traffic.dat in map
Folder GNS in root

Use the first one and don,t forget it need power.
Power in the usb tmc receiver and the usb from the tmc in the xl.

Lets hope it works

is tmc, live traffic update ?

if so, could i get this running on my go 940 running 9.702 navcore and the latest truck map ?

regards.

No it is not Live traffic.
You need a traffic receiver for it.

Hi everybody
Similar to the Millennium bug, the GPS Week Number Roll Over occurs when the GPS calendar resets to 0. The next reset is due on April 6th 2019. What does this mean for you? It's time to check your Driver Terminal. Depending on your device, you may need to perform a software update, check the settings of your device or upgrade.

Unfortunately all devices Go series don't receive updates.

We need help from people for whom solving this problem will be a challenge.
For example on Go9000 (navcore 9.720 original) time is constantly resets to 00:00, but on Go730 with same navcore all is correct. There are no tricks to set up the time.
Thanks for every help

Hi, I have a TT GO 530 with navcore 9.541 that had UKROI with a 1025 map that acquired satellite signals very quickly.
I then the downloaded Europe Truck 1025 map and added it to an SD card with navcore 9.541. I was then able to to see and operate both UKROI and Europe Truck maps albeit as a car. No problems acquiring and keeping the satellite signals.
I then downloaded your Truck Navcore 9.702 Installer which went without any issue. However I now find that the satellite signals are very poor and their strengths go up and down and it makes the sat nav unreliable. I tried a GPS fix but this made no difference.
I can take out the sd card and reboot and get immediate strong signals, but when I reboot with the sd card in they are weak or non existent.
I do not have an older version of the 9.702 navcore where I can pick files from.

Is there anything in your 9.702 navcore installer that I can alter to fix my problem?

NB - A second minor point is that after power on the screen has an icon on the left side with a return arrow and when pressed it says "Mark location of map error". Is there anyway to get rid of this?

Any help would be appreciated

Just read the post prior to mine and it looks like that is my issue. Do you have an updated version of your installer?

You can try the official Truck navcore direct from TomTom to see if it makes any difference:

This board requires you to be registered and logged-in to view hidden content.

Your second minor point is referring to the quick access menu which is customizable via the preferences menu. I wouldn't recommend trying to remove it but try adding things that you will find useful...like Navigate to a postcode for example

No, Truck navcore 9.702 is the latest one

You didn't mention any problems with the time...

Also notice that in the post prior to yours, he said that the Go 730 has no problems...so your Go 530 shouldn't either as it's basically the same device with the same chipset but with a slightly larger internal drive

Many thanks for your prompt replies!

I would like to try the direct TomTom 9.702, but I have never installed a navcore cab file! Any pointers?
Thanks for the Quick Access info - I did not know it even existed!

Hi again - problem solved. I tried tweaking various files and problem remained. So I gave up for the evening and reinstalled the 9.702 installer and everything worked as it should!
I like to think perseverance paid off but I will never know!!
