Download the navcore from [Please Register or Login to download file]

All you have to do is extract that file to your device to restore the operating system.

Then download Australia 985.8157 from [Please Register or Login to download file]

Run the *.exe file and follow the instructions...it will extract the map to your device and auto-activate it

I've tried many navcore versions including yours and it has a red cross still.

my gps has no folders or anything (since i did a fat32 full complete format), do i just extract the navcores into the root drive

So you've tried other things but decided not to mention it before now...not very helpful when you're looking for some assistance is it?
The more information you provide about the steps you've already taken and the map you want helps us to help you.

Yes, extract the archive to the root of your empty device and then reset the device either via a pin hole or by holding down the power button for an extended time
You can also run the Clear Flash Tool that can be downloaded from [Please Register or Login to download file]

You need your ttgo.bif on the root of your tomtom.
check your back ups if you have any and copy this file on your tomtom

if you don't have a back up you need to buy a new map
