Which (and from where) 9.430? And is it stable?
My receiver worked fine with 9.026 and earlier NCs, on my GO910, but not with downunder35m's 9.430, which I've found to be extremely stable and plenty fast enough. So I use his and forgo traffic. I've kept my RDS/TMC receiver in case an NC comes along that has all downunder35m's features and stability and the RDS/TMC capability.

I don't know but the RDS/TMC receiver works on the 9.430 which I have works great. If you want I can upload those files and send you the link, let me know if you want me to do that or the link that tendriver provided resolved your problem.

@ JOHAN: - I tried your patch but it didn't help. Its still the same. I cannot get it to work.

However for 9.051 I just read somewhere there is a patch to fix the "phantom" RDS/TMC receiver when you connect the navi to the docking station. If anyone has that can you please direct me there so I can try that on my 9.051.

@tendriver - I have SE 9.430 but I don't know how to emu x40 or x50. And what are the exact steps to make the voice command work on 9.430. I am amazed that it works on 9.051 but not on 9.430.

1. If you got SE 9.430 from here: Navcore Version 9.430 or here: V8 & V9 Navcores , open your 910 in windows explorer. Open the Config folder. Open the setconfig.txt file. If the first line is " model:x40light" , delete "light". Disconnect & reboot.
2. Why?

1. Thank for the easy steps, I will follow that and see if that works and will update the info here.

2. Because isn't 9.051 an older version than 9.430? usually newer version has fancy features like voice commands, older versions had IR remote. Thats why...

It was not grayed out before changing "model:x40light" to model:x40?

The option was not present at all when it was "model:x40light". When I changed it to "model:x40" the option came up but its grayed out.

OK. Can you give me the exact link that you downloaded 9.430 from?

You can delete the Outsourced.9430 folder. Your unit doesn't need it.
Open your 910 in windows explorer. Open the "text" folder. Open the config.txt file. Copy & post the contents.

Current Emulation: ONE IQ Routes Edition
Changed Menu
BT: 1

Current Emulation: 24
Changed Menu
BT: 1
TTS: on
Run in Save RAM Mode

I changed it to

Current Emulation: 24
Changed Menu
BT: 1
TTS: on
Run in Save RAM Mode

But still the "command and control" option is grayed out.

After that I reconnected my navi and it reads

Current Emulation: x40
BT: 1
Run in Save RAM Mode
