To prevent TT Home from downloading & installing Navcore 9.430
Open the ttgo.bif file with Notepad.
Replace lines 9 & 10 with these:
ApplicationVersionVersionNumber=9430
ApplicationVersion=890926.1
Save this change by clicking "File" in the upper left corner of windows explorer, then "Save as" ttgo.bak. At this point, there is only a ttgo.bak file in the root, no ttgo.bif.
Disconnect & reboot. Now you will have a ttgo.bak, a ttgo.bif & a ttgo.ori file in the root & no TT Home upgrade to Navcore 9.430.

Edit: If you have problems finding a TMC station download the attachment and replace the mcxt.dat in the root of your device with the contents of the archive.

Why should I not have allowed Home to update my TT ONE IQ Routes to 9.430? It seemed to patch and everything seems to function OK.

Some users with older units like the GO X20 or X30 prefer to wait on a SE version to continue using the new menus.

That's OK then. I just had a sinking feeling having skimmed through something about NC 11 and not being able to patch:)

Any ideas when someone already made the dumb thing and let tomtom Home install the new NC 9.430 in a Go630 and now it's not possible to use the maps?
Thanks for any help.

The info that we got regarding an XXL 250 using a v11 navcore turned out not to be true! The guy did not have an XXL, but a Via device which does run a v11 navcore.

Patch 9.430 with FastActivate 1.8.8.5 Premium. That will get your 630 back in business.

What navcore were you using prior to the 9.430 update?

Many thanks for your Help.

I was trying to unlock with the Normal FastActivate (Not the Premium Version), but after using the Premium, everything went back to normal.
Before the upgrade, I was using the NC 9.401 (as far as I remember, so not 100% sure)...
Now, let's play with the new 9.430.

Thanks again and congratulations for this great site.

@ karbo,

Why would anybody want to download from hotfile.com, when they can download direct from TT in post 1.

Tried 9.430 (LE version) on my ONE XLS. Sounds work, but locks up when I connect the traffic antenna. Same problem I have with most v9 NCs on this (sound usually doesn't work and traffic antenna locks it up). No skin menu either, but I don't think there is one for the ONE. I wish it would work, I'd love to get a v9 NC on this.

Are you using trying to use SE or DSA V9 versions?

Sat Mar 31, 2012 3:57 am

TMC only works in the original emulation, so only self mode (for the DSA version) will work.
But most of the older SE verions can be tweaked with the setting "fixtmc" while TTS is set to off.
Have you tried if the original CAB works on your device after patching?

By the way: added a fullbackup for GO models to my other versions.

Can be downloaded to your device before the official NC 9430, and then inserted the patched version? If you download the patched version of the device, which is 9401, then the device will not work out and you can only disable the reset.
