Navcore Request 9.205

Postby Ghostgeezer » Tue Jul 04, 2017 7:03 am

Hi All
Short request...
I have the official 9.205 navcore from tomtom but all the links for the 2 patched files on here are dead.
Could someone be kind enough to up them somewhere for me please.

Reason.....
I have a rider v2 running official 7.901 and all works ok.The best western europe map i can find for that navcore is 9.75
I have a problem connecting my bluetooth device to all the newer navcores i have tried.
I would like to put a more up to date map on and still have my bluetooth working.
9.205 seems to be my best hope. i tried the official 9.205 navcore without the 2 patched downloads and patched it with 'fastactivate'. It kept locking up and cant get to test the bluetooth.

ttgo.bif:
DeviceName=TomTom RIDER
DeviceVersionHW=RIDER
DeviceSerialNumber=K2xxxxxxxxxx
BootLoaderVersion=55250
ApplicationVersionVersionNumber=7901
ApplicationVersion=9181
CurrentMap=Europe 975.7749
CurrentMapVersion=975.7749

Map(s):
F:\Africa 975.7691\
F:\Europe 975.7749\

Storage:
Size 3767MB, Free 629MB

Thanks
Peter

I tried 9.5 and a few others too.
im no expert, but i think it needs a navcore that is really meant for a 'rider'.
7.9 has a 'connect headset' menu button, but the other ones ive tried dont.

i have tried factory reset and flash clear too.
I was under the impression that 9.250 was made to work on the rider 3. hopefully that will be the one that will work.
otherwise im stuck on 7.9

The 9500 is special made for the Rider to and has 100 waypoints instead of 48.
9500 works fine on my one
But give the 9205 a try

OK...... Time to update anyone who cares...

I tried navcore 9.5 on my rider. this had a bluetooth button that would connect to my phone but not my headset.
it also had no option for 'connect a headset'.

Now after asking (above) for 9.205, Holyhead was kind enough to post a link to a navcore that DOES have a 'connect headset' button and obviously was designed for a rider.
So somewhere along the line I got the wrong navcore, but thanks to Holyhead Im up and running with the latest
western europe map and a cool 'rider' 9.5 navcore with a working bluetooth headset.

Thank you so much. :023:

Hello holyhead

i've got TomTom Urban Rider 4GC01 running 9.205 version (looks like Ghostgeezer's one)
i've tried to download France 1000.8641 card but i got message "you can't use this map on this "

maybe i could try navcore 9.500 (if you think it should be better) but your link is not valid any more .
can you please share it again ?

thank's in advance

The error message you're getting is a patching issue...not a navcore one:

1. Download the latest FastActivate from here
2. Extract it to the root of your device
3. Run FastActivate.exe from the root and select options 2 then 3 (waiting for successful messages each time)
4. When complete, disconnect from the PC and try again...it should be working now

Please update us with the results good or bad

I'm sure Holyhead will be able to help if you still want NC 9.500

I am out of the country on the moment.
I can only give you the 9510 Rider.
So try that one and looks if it works.
