The question is "What navcore do you have now?"

Now I have installed the 9.205. But my tomtom home tells me that I do not have an original OS on my Tom Tom. Also When I try to patch my tomtomhome it tells me the correct tthome.dll is missing...

I also installed the map Norht America 860.xxxx and it says I cannot use it on my tomtom.

So what is wrong with the 9.205?
You can only patch Home if you have downloaded the DLL files, Home should do that automatically when you select "Operate my...".
You can disregard the error about the wrong version.

Map and Navcore needs to be patched/activated and you have not included the full version number of the map.
If correctly patched and activate the map will work.

To fix version error.
Open the ttgo.bif file with Notepad.
Replace lines 9 & 10 with these:
ApplicationVersionVersionNumber=8351
ApplicationVersion=9982
"Save as" ttgo.bak
Disconnect & reboot.

This should also take care of your TT Home issue.

A new ttgo.bif file is created by your unit everytime you start it. Your unit doesn't use a ttnavigator.bif file.

I did this but I still get same error on my North America map:

you cannot use this map on your system: North_America-254.

For clarafication, are you getting this error when you start your 720 or when you go to TT Home "Operate my GO"?

I get this when I go to 'change maps'. Both when I do this on my GO and 'operate my go' through TThome.

Go here: FastActivate ENG 28.03.2011 {1.8.6.6} Read the instructions carefully. Download the Premium version. Run both the ttsystem & map buttons.

Either the navcore or the map is not patched. If the map, but no navcore, is on a sd card, a copy of the ttgo.bif must also be on the card when patching. Open the map folder & look for a .meta.dct file. If not there, then map is not patched.

My map is indeed on a sdcard and my navcore not. I will try this. Thank you for your help, I'll let you know if it works.
