Navcore advice for go910

What navcore version should I try to update my go910 ?
I'm using v8.412 at this moment.

Thanks for your response.
I'm not an experienced user so excuse me if my questions are basic.

I've surfed around on the forum and I've several questions.
I don't know where to ask them so I've placed them here....

Where can I find version 9.430 for my GO910 ?

What is the difference between a SE-version and a Basicpack ?

Is it right that you can't use the maps posted with the original navcore version ?

Which 9.430 version should I use for TT GO910 or TT GO720 ?

1. V8 & V9 Navcores would be a good place to look.
2. SE is a mod version that can be used on numerous devices. Basicpack is part of an SE version. It purpose is to help 32MB units run navcores meant for 64MB units. Your 910 doesn't need the Basicpack.
3. It depends on the compatibility between the original navcore version & the posted map.
4. Either one is OK.

Thanx for your quick response and your patience with my basic questions.
I had searched the post: Navcore-V9 for version 9.430 but I couldn't find this.
I thought that this post was a collection of all v9 navcores like the maps-post.
But thanks for your link.

A have some additional questions...
What is a mod version?
What is the difference between the versions:
- 9.430.1-2008.go.CAB-navcore-GO.cab
- 9.430.2-2008.le.CAB-navcore-LE.cab
- SE_9430.rar

What is the version I should use on my GO910 ?

On your 910 you should use the 7.9 NC Home offers ;)
LE and GO versions only differ in minor things but as the name says the first ist for Go models.
SE is the SE version that enables the NC to be used on devices that don't officially use it or need a different Emulation.
If you search my latest threads you'll find several versions for the 9.430 and the 9.450 - you won't need a version with "memory boost".
If you decide to go for the cab with the SE check the tutorial section for "switchfiles for dummies".

Thanks for your information.
Now I have something to spend my time.
I'll do my best to get the information I need and I'll try to get my GO910 updated.

If I have troubles doing this, you will hear from me again.

1. V8 & V9 Navcores is up to date. Navcore-V9 needs a little update work.
2. Explaination given in post 4 point 2.
3. Each is for different models, which are listed above the download link. SE_9430.rar is a ready to go prepatched version.
