Navcore 9.540.2 Installer

Fri May 01, 2015 10:16 am

For everyone with the need of the latest version number ;)
Download the Installer and start the EXE file, for eveything else you will be prompted, so simply follow the on screen instructions.
Please pay attention when selecting the drive letter for your TT / SD card!
A clean install on an empty device is recommended, so make a proper backup using Windows Explorer before wiping all.

I upgraded from 9.530 SE to this and there is a difference. I no longer get album art in the jukebox. I tried 9.510, 9.540 and 9.702 on my TT720 in x40 emulation mode and 9.530 is the only one which give me the album art.

1. 9.530 is just a version of 9.510 adapted for the Asian market.
2. 9.510 is the current nc for your 720. 9.540 is for models with less features than yours. Actually you are downgrading rather than upgrading.
When using modded NCs, you often have to give up a feature to gain a feature. You can't have all of them.

does this one have auto power on?

I have not tried it out and as there is no difference to the version with the auto power on function I didn't bother too much.
Feel free to test it, but if it does work, it won't work in all emulations, so best to try with X30 first.
If in doubt use the other Installer as you won't see any difference in the Navcore.

Are there any threads that explain what the varios emu modes are and their differences?

Thanks!

No. Emu = Emulation. By setting different emus, you can emulate different TT models & their features. I have a GO X20 set to emulate a GO X50.

Thanks. So when i go into "skin chooser" i see the x20/x30/x40/x50 emu's (with numbers ovelayed eg. x40 has 24 overlayed on it).

I also see "START2Emu" and weird screen that has DSA TT background (with a 71 overlayed). What are these?

Please do some reading on the different TT models, especially their names - you will then see the relations.
And you can ignore the rest of the icons that makes no sense to you.

Hi,

I currently have Navcore 9.510 installed on my Tom Tom XXL 540 device.

Question is Navcore 9.540.2 installer an upgrade for my device or will I be going backwards?

Cheers, bondyz99
