Thank you for the newer splashw.bmp, I had been looking for it, where did you get from?

If you mean the castle, that is from my home town.

He is referring to the splashw.bmp in the 9.500 folder.

No sound ! ! : Only Sound via BT Head set.
It's a NC for Bike Nav.
So BT:example Scala is normaly used.

In EMU , you have option for XL.

It was already explained how edit the resking file if necessary, same for the different emulations.
But that's ok.
Whats not ok is to simply post "does not work" or "no sound"!!
You are long enough a member here to know better!
If you expect help, we expect you to give a full description of the problem - with all details.
We not clairvoyant, even if it might seem so...

Can somebody please confirm that this Navcore works on a normal TomTom, like a 720? Or is it only for the Rider series?

Many thanks.

I already stated it works fine on my device, and no other problems with good devices from the GO series reported.
But there is not much difference to the original NC.

9.465 is the current official navcore for your 720. You will not gain anything by using 9.500.

I like playing with my tomtom.
So decided to install this version navcore on my GO520.
As the original navcore for this device in my opinon is ugly looking i.e nasty brown menu's etc.
So i used the navcore se v9.170 as i did on my ONE XL as the blue menu etc is nice to the eye's.
Tried this one, and works very well indeed.
If people complain about no voices etc, that is easy to resolve.
Obviously you would make a backup of your original navcore on your pc.
Simply copy the voices folder over to the navcore now in your tomtom, also do same with zip folder, job done.
All works perfectly.
Thank you for sharing this, it is much appreciated ;)

Navcore 9.465 is the current official version for your 520. You gain nothing by using the Rider 5 Navcore 9.500.
The menu look is determined by the SE emu setting. The "nasty brown menu" is the standard X20 menu. All of the SE 9.XXX navcores are defaulted to the X40 emu, which is giving you the "new look".

Thanks for explaining as regard the "emu"
I did gain something, educating myself an learning more without asking, but your reply seems somewhat rude as thou i ask for help.
I noticed you stated on someone else's post they have nothing to gain and i did read that.
I made my choice in testing as i can then post result that it works without issues for other's.
Best wishes
