Hi, i am new here,
hope i will get it right
I tried the Navcore 9.500 on my TomTom Raider I.
I got the software on my SD Card got it running, but everytime i try to put an adress in, it crashes.
But worse is, afterwards the SD Card is gone - the PC doesn't recognise it anymore.
Tried it with the 9.500.2-6021.CAB-navcore-RIDER_org, the 9.500MB software on SD card normal, SDHC card.
3 cards gone, any ideas? Does anyone have the same problems.
With the software 9.205 i have no problems - fast acess only with non SDHC cards

Please have a look here,
download the installer and try the normal version first.
In case it is too slow or the free Ram is below 7mb, try the Memory Boost version.
For the emulation I suggste to stick with Self or try 17 for the Rider2.
Afaik your device has no internal storage, so without a SD the PC will only see a card reader.
For your "broken" SD cards I suggest you download the SD formatter from [Please Register or Login to download file] .
As long as the SD shows up in your Explorer this formatter will fix it.

Thanks
First, the SDHC card still works, i put your software "normal" on it.
It had around 6.3 MB free Ram, but a few Icon's didn't show up, also with the Skin 5.
Skin 17 Raider II everything is there, but Ram varies between 4 - 6 MB and it doesn't crash.
Reaction time with the SDHC card faster, than with version 9.205.
Unfortunately, the two other SD cards don't even show up anymore - not even when i put them in an USB stick.
I will try now the other versions and as the reaction time of the SD cards was much faster with the 9.205, i might try a third one. If i'm courageous. :-).
I will keep you posted.
OK i tested the 9.500MB version.
Same with the few missing Icons like statistik, headset connect..., except in the Raider II Emu.
No crashes and around 10 MB Ram free!!!
Reaction time while putting in an adress not faster than with the normal Emu.
I will see if i can find another normal SD card and try it again

So i tried it on a 2 SD Card, no problems, but i think the SD and SDHC are not much different in speed. With software 9.205 it was a big difference. :-)
thanks again, now the only thing would be great to reactivate my 2 4GB SD Cards.

That is bad news, I assume they were no-name brands?
Sandisk would replace them with the lifetime warranty, but considering the costs and time it only worth for expensive cards.

You are right, they were Platinum SD 4GB cards.
But as the new software runs good on the SDHC cards and they are easier to come by, it's not too bad :-)

This is a 3rd party upload, which we don't support. It will be up to the poster of this thread to repair/replace it.

Try Downunder's Rider Navcore 9.500 if you are interested in 9.500.

You can not emulate the Rider5 skin, at least there is no one that would know how to get it working...
