Visual - Mio unlock/shell

Postby gingleman » Thu Jul 21, 2011 12:34 pm

I've found a problem: when I click on "Sat icon displays satellite info" , program doesn't start, but apperas a X on the bottom-left that I can't press, So I have to restart.

Another thing... How can I exit gps program without reset? When i exit Igo Primo it appears Visual for 1 second, and everything restarts. I can't see "x" on the corner of the screen so I have to exit with the function in navigator

Primo reboots my M400 on exit as well, I never figured out why.

It maybe that the "sat info" prog isn't fully compatible with WinCE 6, that's why it doesn't start.

Dear Dalanik,
I have a Mio Spirit S568 GPS device, successfully installed the Visual unlock on it. I've got a question about the bluetooth icon, which refering to Contacts.exe.
When i press the bluetooth button, it says cannot find the contacts.exe. i have checked my Mio Bt folder and what i found there was contacts file with no extention. I can receive incoming calls exactly like it was stated in your user guide, launching Mio spirit original program and exiting. Wondering what executable file opens up dial screen in mio spirit.
Also i couldn't set up time because it was only GTM+. I am in Canada and time shoud be GTM-5.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Vladimir

I think there is no separate exe for contacts on Spirit, that's why it doesn't work. It works only on Moov's.

GMT can be set probably by pressing the TAB and going to 2nd screen with more options.

regards,
D.

Hi dalanik,
I have Mio Spirit 480 (Win CE 6.0). I've replaced the toolhelp.dll but I still get the MortScript error for most of the features. However the good part is that I can access the TC thus the GPS programs installed on the SD card (and run directly the .exe command of the program). Thank you for your great program and maybe you will find a full workaround for Win CE 6.0 devices.

This archive contains both versions of Toolhelp.dll

WinCE4.2 and WinCE5 use the same version but WinCE6 needs a different version, Both are contained in named folders within the archive.

If you get them muddled up then the CE5 version is 5.34KB and the CE6 version is 7.00KB

Mortscript needs Toolhelp.dll for any commands that use processes, (ie, Kill, ProcExists, etc...) Mortscript will look in the Windows directory and then in it's own directory for it, If it can't find it an error message is displayed, If the wrong version is found Mortscript will crash.

It's possible to query the WinCE version from Mortscript and copy the correct version of Toolhelp.dll into the application's directory.

I've reinstalled Visual unlock with the new toolhelp.dll file for Win CE 6 devices from Fatboyfun and now it works fine. I think the original file posted by Dalanik in the first post of the thread is the old one (it has only 5.476 bytes) so it should get updated by someone. Cheers for the workaround Fatboyfun!

You have to tell Tomtom where the GPS receiver is, It might be labeled as SirfNavDrv in the list of COM ports

Tap the information area on the map screen where the clock is, tap the area on the right where the signal strength is, tap configure, scroll to select "Other NMEA receiver" tap done, Use the slider to select your baud rate, may be 4800, tap done, tap on the com port, probably sirfnavdrv, the little yellow and black circle will rotate if you did it right.

I downloaded and installed the new version 1.15.01, and when I restart the miomoov shows that the version installed is 1.11.01
Why does this happen?
I do something wrong?
I have already installed in the 1.12.02, deleting folders and install the new version.
In Flash I mean
