Hello to all, very nice forum you have here.

If it's not asking to much, can some one give me a link to SD SimpleUnlock with this description:
I decided to make an SD Unlock version of the above unlock. This way people that still like to have the unlock on the SD card can have this unlock as well. Just unrar and copy to your SD card. There is also instructions on how to use both TeleAtlas and Navteq maps in the same version of Igo8. If you do not want to do this then I will post directions on how to change this feature for people that only want to use one set of maps.... the directions will be posted below the link:

I find this site
Code: Select all
http://gpsnavigation.webs.com/simpleunlockmiodevice.htm
but the link is dead.

Tanks in advance.

Best regards.

@caam14

I need more information then you are giving here like what is the name of the unlock? Who made it? A short description is not enough. There is more than one kind of unlock.

EDIT: You have excellent unlocks that can be found here. SD-free is terrific.

Hi everyone!

I'm lookin for a sd unlock that was made by xtyler and it was available in his website but links don´t work any more. He wrote:

!Universal SD-Free Unlock for most CE Devices

Well, I figured since so many non-mio owners were asking me to adapt my unlocks for them that it would be easier just to put out a universal unlock that should work on most CE 4.2 and CE 5.0 devices. Now, you will need to do some editing to make it specific to your device, but I was kind enough to put a complete tutorial with the unlock. Since it is a universal unlock I included buttons for every navigation software I could think of.... as you can see in the screen shots. If you follow the directions exactly you can have this up and running on your PNA. There is a 320x240 version and a 480x272 version. Oh... and yes it will work on older Mio's.... like I said most any CE 4.2 or CE 5.0 PNA will do.(Moov owners should use the Moov unlocks since this unlock is not set up for a Moov)

Universal SD-Free 320x240 Version "

I want to unlock a Magellan Roadmate 1200, and I think this unlock will do the trick because this GPS has a little memory.

Thanks in advance..and still learning english.

Xtyler's unlocks are killed because the companies consider them piracy.
This forum offers other unlocks you can apply.
In case you desperately need a Xtyler's one you could specify which one and some member or moderator could possibly help out.

Hello and thanks for all the great stuff you put on here.
I went to the link http://www.navitotal.com/forums/noref.php?url=http://www.freewebs.com/xtyler91/index.htm and to be honest couldn't believe my eyes, you can creat better stuff than the satnav companies out there. I was chuffed to see a Universal SD-Free Unlock for most CE Devices but unfortunately I can't seem to to download it because the link appears to be invalid.
Do you know of any other way to obtain it.
Thanks again and keep up the good work.

That's very kind of you but I have a Foehn and Hirsch N30 and I am not sure if a device specific unlock would work on it.
If you think it will then I will bow to greater wisdom.
I am very much wet behind the ears at this sort of thing.
Thanks again

As it's only a SystemInformation unlock it will work, But you will have to edit all the paths to match your device's flash drive names, Mio's are called My Flash Disk whereas yours are maybe ResidentFlash.

Do you even need an unlock? What do you want to achieve?

I have an NDrive Touch XL which wont get past the initial start up screen showing to insert an sd card.
Even when I insert an sd card it doesn.'t see it yet I can view the contents of the sd card in windows explorer. I am assuming it is the NDrive software causing the problem.
I thought if I could unlock it I could put something else on it. It is too good to bin.

You can try my Universal Shell

Just set your device to run Start.exe, Either by changing the boot application/path or replacing the original app with MobileNavigator.exe, (Which links to Start.exe)

You set up the paths to your applications on screen within the shell, So there's no manual editing involved.
