Your Primo folder must be named Primo2 and the Primo.exe must be named Primo2.exe. Rename them if you have to.

Hi, I need some help, mate....

The internal drive of my MIO C320 is empty, I accidentally deleted everything from it some time ago. What should I do in order to unlock with your tool and install Igo Primo 2.0?

Thanks!

You should be able to copy the download directly to your C320 internal drive and all should be OK. Please post your results. :)

Nope, I tried copying everything from the download directly to the root of the internal drive, and I can't start it (I get "some files are missing warning").

Hmmm! Should have worked. OK, try this one http://www.navitotal.com/forums/showthread.php?3290-My-3.3-internal-Flash-drive-with-the-Mio-unlock-already-contained Just know though this unlock for the Mio is for iGO8 and Primo 1.0, 1.1 only [not Primo 2.0] plus some others.

EDIT: It's been downloaded and used hundreds of times so I know it works.

Thanks, this one seems to be working!

However, I can't start up the Primo 1.2.

Do I need to use Primo 1.1?

Primo 1.1 doesn't work either. Can I use your unlock for Primo 2.0, just copy over the previous unlock and rewrite?

No. If it ain't broke don't fix it!!! Remember, you started with nothing because you accidentally deleted everything off your internal flash drive.

That is the unlock that I use on my C320 so I know that it works 100% with Amigo, iGO8, Primo 1.0, 1.1 and others. Primo 1.1 http://www.navitotal.com/forums/showthread.php?5500-November-Primo-1.1-from-my-device Just extract the folder to your SD card, add content and you're ready to go.

What do you suggest, to leave the internal drive of my c320 empty, and just copy the unlock from the link above to the sd card?

Mon Feb 13, 2012 9:52 pm

Yes. My post #5 contains all files that Mio needs to start as well as what I modified. Just backup the unlock you have now on your device that seems to be working.

Mon Feb 13, 2012 10:10 pm

Let's see if I understood you correctly.

1. I download the files from your post #5 (which I did and it works, but it won't start Primo 1.1)
2. I put all the downloaded files onto the external sd card and I leave the internal memory of c320 empty
3. I download Primo 1.1 from your post #8 and where do I put it?

Mon Feb 13, 2012 10:15 pm

No. You're doing it wrong. The download from post #5 which I modified to start the Mio and already contains the unlock ONLY goes onto the internal drive of the device itself. The download you made of my Primo 1.1 program ONLY goes on the SD card.

Mon Feb 13, 2012 10:26 pm

OK, I understood it now. I am currently downloading your version of primo 1.1, will notify you shortly whether it works or not.

It works! Everything works perfectly now! Thank you!!!!!

The only thing that I really dislike is the visual appearance of igo primo 1.1, i thing newer versions look much better. Do you have any suggestion how to make primo 2.0 work?

Don't be greedy. You had a non-working device and now you have a working device. Again [please let it sink in] If it ain't broke don't fix it. Besides Primo 2.0 looks just like Primo 1.1.
