My 3.3 internal Flash drive with the Mio unlock already cont

Fri Oct 15, 2010 1:37 pm

This is my 3.3 Flash drive with the Mio unlock. The MioMap is the unlock MioMap NOT the MioMap installed by the Mio people. Just copy/paste all the folders/files to your empty internal Flash drive and you should be good to go. This should work with all Mios except the MOOV series. BACKUP YOUR DEVICE FIRST IN CASE THERE IS A PROBLEM!

Works with all and Primo 1.0 and 1.1. Primo 1.2 unlock http://www.navitotal.com/showthread.php?4889-Mio-unlock-modified-for-Primo-1.2 For Primo 2.0 use my other modified unlock http://www.navitotal.com/showthread.php?8816-Mio-3.3-unlock-modified-for-use-w-Primo2

Hello,
I have this unlock up and running fine. But I have a problem when trying to connect via activesync. The device shows the "file transfer" screen and won't allow me to do anything else. So I'm unable to get garmin started in order to transfer routes etc.
Do you have any ideas to get it out of the "file transfer" screen mode?
Thanks!

This post should really be in the Garmin general discussion for any help needed since you are saying that the unlock is working fine. The VERY first thing you should have said is what GPS device you and what are its specifications. Programs, for the most part, should go to a SD card.

Hi bro.
Can u explain me this:Just copy/paste all the folders/files to your empty internal Flash drive and you should be good to go.
Do u want me to copy my program folder e.g. iGO8 and Primo2 straight away to the root of SD card? No settings or sys.txt file? I could use some instructions, also not sure how to switch off device without loosing time settings.
Thanx.
