if your comand doesnt work with the navteq OEM disks.......your problem may not be the disks.....it might be the comand

It will read the 2006 but not run due to the firmware, when i put in the 1st 2011 it worked till it separated in the middle , the second 2011 worked till about a year later when it separated and the 2013 got scratched.

once the disk is in the comand...you know there is really no reason to remove them and risk having them broken.

ok, hopefully you will be able to burn the iso and have it work so you can make as many as you need.

I have a MY05 SL500 with the original NAV DVD 2005.3.

Does updating from that, directly to the latest version work, or does it require a service update first?

I was told that updating in in smaller steps (2005-2006, the 2007, , 2008, etc) does the updates automatically, but a large jump forces a service update.
