The lack of understanding comes from here : what do you mean by "prepare a SD card" ? be clear about that please.
Maybe for Mercedes, the SC card should be partitioned ? and certainly formated in accordance with "my manual" ...
By the way, it could be usefull and interesting for everybody to share how you resolved the "preparation" of your SD card ...
