You cannot use this map on this device

Hi all

have been trying all day and tried 3 different maps for uk and irelabnd but get the same result everytime.
Tomtom go 530 .navcore updated with the tool from here to 9.5 ,maps tried so far 965,7250....965,7252 and 965,7282.
same result. I followed the steps to the letter but did notice each time in fast activate .dct err
Any help please

Put a copy ttgo.bif from the root and FastActivate into the new map folder on your device > run FastActivate from there and select option 2 to activate the map

Once completed you should now see a .meta.dct file which indicates that the map is patched

You do have a recent FA and/or did update it with option one.
With your navvies you should be able to crack any map.

Latest fa downloaded from here yes updated option 1 as well. Following the instructions step by step but still getting dct err on the map activation. dct ok on voice so not sure whats wrong. just noticed that in fa option 2 the map is listed under incomplete maps ,not complete maps yet i downloaded it from here.

Just tried a different activator and got meta not generated ,on the map???

The problem is you're trying to activate maps that don't have any meta data released yet - 965.7252 and 965.7282

Try the fully featured UK & ROI 965.7250 map again using the instructions I gave you in post #2 and it will work
