I downloaded U.S. 930-5601, there is no meta code for it yet.
I was reading that if there is a equivalent map I might be able to unlock it with another meta code.
USA_Canada_and_Mexico v930.5605 has a meta code. Can I use that meta code to unlock it?

930_5563 = 930_5605 = 930_5618 = Android
930_5560 = 930_5601 = 930_5603

USA_Canada_and_Mexico v930.5605 is a single map. No other version. You can't other map unlocking of USA_Canada_and_Mexico v930.5605 .meta file.




U.S 925.5439 or U.S 1GB 925.5439 having meta codes. You can use this maps.

You have wrong map in my opinion, because tomtom XXL working with navcore 9.510 (2GB memory) iq routes edition

You must use the USA_Canada_and_Mexico v930.5605 map.

IQ Routes not working with 5601 maps... This maps is basic maps for navcore 7,8.

Well the reason I have to go with this version is I loaded my xxl with the custom navicore from this site and the 925-5439 map was around 45mb too large for my device.
The only way I was able to fit 925-5439 was delete the poi's then download the smallest US map (didn't have to have a meta) and just use the poi's from that version.

The fact that your XXL has a 2GB internal memory and that a 871MB map is 45MB too big, tells me that you are sacrificing map selection flexability by having a grossly bloated custom 9.510 (1GB +) navcore, instead of the SE 9.510 (45MB) version, which is the navcore that I am using. Is having the custom 9.510 navcore worth the sacrifice?? Not to me!!

FWIW, the ONLY USA 930 map that is usable (has a meta code) is USA_Canada_and_Mexico v930.5605 that kaspersky_nl alluded to.

I'm using navcore 9.170 on a One XL with 2GB SD card which is very stable and clean (2 button layout where you can turn off the inaccurate arrival time/time to run etc). This runs USA, Canada and Mexico 930.5605 fine. No cspeech or traffic but you get city maps (outlines of buildings) and lane guidance and can delete cspeech and cphoneme files to reduce total size to free up space for a couple of extra maps.

I also use this navcore on a Go730 - I have no need for bluetooth and cspeech stuff - in fact I don't use any voices as I find them annoying. You do get the automatic screen dimming when dark though.

Very confusing answers to OP wrt to meta files. You can't use a 925 meta to unlock a 930 map.

Just download USA, Canada and Mexico 930.5605 for which a meta is available or stick with the 925 until a meta for the map you want becomes available.
