TomTom Go 730 Australia map 905.4754

Wed Apr 03, 2013 9:32 am

Updated the navcore to 9.465
Tried putting the map 905.4754 but not working.
I used fast activate to patch everything.
Still nothing.
Error is the typical red light message You cannot use this map for this GPS : Australia-710 (referring to the meta)
Is the map incompatible with my device?
Thanks!

Map and Navcore are correct.
You can check if the map is activated by confirming you have .dct file with the name of the map inside the map folder.
If so, you have to patch the Navcore.

@ rahulshankar

If you have not patched the 9.465 navcore, then download, unzip & copy this pre-patched SE ttsystem file into your 730 overwriting the current 9.465 ttsystem file: 9.465 SE ttsystem.rar
This SE file is defaulted to emu X40. If you prefer emu X50, then also download unzip & copy the attached model.txt file into your 730.

Thanks a lot tendriver. That ttsystem file did the job.
For some reason it wasn't getting patched with fastactivate downunder35m. Not sure why exactly?

Ok another problem. It keeps trying to acquire a GPS signal but can't. It just keeps trying, so it can't plot anything. I'll try the whole leave it on for an hour and see if it works, but on previous upgrades it connected right off the bat.

You must patch the navcore and map with this tool: >>FastActivate<<.

The lack of any map data tells us that your map has not been patched. Mr. Anderson's post is on the right track.

Thanks
