Problem with 905 map on go910 9.485X10memboost

I am running 9.485X10memboost with Western and Central Europe 2GB 900.4602 on a go910 and have updated the map to Europe 905 4754. I have patched everything but device states 'problem with map. You cannot use this map on this device : Europe-710'. What have I done wrong?? Thanks.

That message usually means the map hasn't been activated. Was there a meta code listed for the map you installed?

What makes you think a meta code for a completely different map will help you?

TIME OUT!! Western and Central Europe 2GB 900.4602 is birdsunlimited's OLD map. His NEW map is Europe 905 4754, for which there is a meta code.

Look for a meta.DCT file in the Europe_905_4754 map folder to confirm that the map is patched.

I had the same probs when trying to activate the UK and ROI 905.4754 maps, and tinkered around with the meta.txt file until it activated.

There is not a meta.DCT file in the Europe_905_4754 map folder..Does this mean the meta file is incorrect for this map and, if so, does this mean it is not available yet?

No, it just means that the map didn't get patched.
Put FastActivate 21.03.2013 & a copy of your device's ttgo.bif file in the Europe_905_4754 map folder & run the FA map patching feature.

Sorted...I ran the latest FastActivate and it patched the map. I understood the automatic installer patched the map when installing it on device..Thanks for your help.

Just warning him to take it easy. I already had my a** handed to me.

I had the same prob, bird. Auto install/patch didn't work for me either. Had to dl and run fastactivate to get mine sorted.

FFR, always use the latest version of Fastactivate. Always check the Integrated_meta.txt file in the FastActivate folder, to confirm that your new map meta is included. After running FastActive, always look for a meta.DCT file in the new map folder to confirm that the map is patched.
