tt one 3rd edition

done a lot reading and took plunge to update this lost soul i done full backup.
this is the original info on device


delete all files i update the navicore using this file 9.510.2-2039.CAB-navcore-LE assuming is the correct one,now i have this info on device

i install the latest map available and fast activate but when i turn on i got error "problem with map,you cannot use this map on this device*.
which step i am screwing in here

**Edit: i might found the reason that the _6803 does not have the metacode? since it's late and i cant download from filefactor today i will resume tomorrow

You need a patched Navcore and a map that has a meta code posted
And delete your device ID from your posting...

another wall to jump, i downloaded new UK map 955_6801 and patched all went well...start tomtom greeted with legal notice which i agree and then a warning none of the available voices can be used with current language..press continue and get a satellite fix on my location but cannot access the menu, i touch the screen but TT freeze and then restart by itself.....repeat and he does the same..
could be the navicore?
which navicore would be ideal for this unit?

If you choose a relative small map like UK&ROI on a 1 gb One 3rd edition then choose the map with most functionality and (modded) navcore 9.510.
That should be no problem.
The biggest limitation on the 3rd ed. is the limited storage capacity.
But, as indicated, no problem if you're happy with a small map.

i only need UK & ROI map for this unit, but something went horrible wrong and i decided to start from scratch flowing the tutorials in here,this time i will use the downunder35m installer.
it should be straightforward job with the amount of reading i done but i need to wait for the crawling speed of the download file

update:
redone all steps again all went all until the voice part didn't work, after a bit of reading again and found that i was missing the voices folder.
thanks to this user post, i manage to put the voices working by copying my original backup

you 'may ' need a meta code along with the voice also for it to work.(it depends on how new the voice file is) Copy the meta voice code into your meta file and then re run fast activate.
