TT One 3rd edition "disk is probably full"

Sun Jun 05, 2016 4:23 am

Hi,

I owning a 3Rd edition 32 Mb TT ONE with 8.010 Navcore and USA_Canada v705.1481 maps.

After cleared the device, I installed 9.510 32 Mb navcore and then install the USA_Canada_1GB_970_7491 map.

But the storage seems to be too small .

What I'm supposed to do ?

Thanks in advance.

Maps have increased in size a lot since your previous map so the updated version USA_Canada_1GB_970_7491 is now just over 964MB which won't fit on your device.

You have also compounded the issue by installing navcore 9.510 which is larger in size as well.

So you'll need to find a smaller map that is suitable for your needs:

Northern_US_and_Canada_970_7491 = 451.73 MB
or
United_States_1GB_970_7491 = 872.06 MB

You can also opt for deleting the poi.dat file which saves storage but also incapacitates the option to search for Places of Interest.
But it might save enough storage space to run the map.

So after all the process with auto activation map,

I've the following message :

You can not use this map on this GPS "Nother_US_and_Canada-100781.

May the activation hasn't worked ? I've copied the ttgo.bif in at the root as it mentionned.

EDIT : The map is working, I've done a map patch, a navcore patch manually with Fast Activate and it works for the moment

FFR, if you used this version of 9.510, Navcore 9.510 by Downunder35m, you could have saved roughly 130 MBs by using a different version.
