help needed to update the tt xl maps [SOLVED]

hi there everyone!

My Friend asked my if i could help update his TT gps so im trying and i dont know how to do it

i completely blank and new to this forum could any one help me please ?????

the gps is :

4et0.002.03

no external memory

I have got the map.. title : Europe_West_945_6174 got is from torrents but when i copy this to gps folder the gps says that it cant use it

Ok, the map you've downloaded is about 18 months out of date as we're now on 965 series and 970 will be released in the near future.

However, being as you've already got it, you can install that map for now to get it up and running and then download a newer map when you see fit.

So that map will be contained within it's own folder...copy it to the device
Then download FastActivate and extract it to the device
Run FastActivate.exe on the device and select options 2 then 3
Disconnect it from the PC and reboot it...job done

Ok, no problem

Just make sure that any 965 map you download already has a meta code available before you start downloading otherwise you won't be able to activate it

hi i have copy the maps and copied the fast active to the tt memory.

this did not worked the program wont run from the tt , it will turn on the pc

so mi stuck.

got it opened on the desktop and funded direction of tt from there so it working now
