Go630 No maps work after use of FastActivate, not even the o

Sat Aug 31, 2013 11:12 am

Hi. I have a Go630. Was working fine untill today I decided to get updated maps for both western europe and the USA (going there next week).
I downloaded the maps (usenet), used fastactivate, and all of a sudden I get error messages saying that I " cannot use this map on this navigation system". Even the 'old' map (which was working fine untill this afternoon) is giving me this problem. I downloaded the latest FastActivate, updated the meta, used FA to activate te maps, and used FA to hack the navcore. I even downloaded a new navcore (9.430, from this site), deleted the .dct files.

I clearly must be doing something wrong, but I have run out of ideas so far... Anyone here who can help me?

(btw: the new maps are usa 2gb 915_5074 and western europe 2gb 915_511)

Info from FastActivate:
DeviceName=TomTom GO 630
DeviceVersionHW=GO 630
DeviceSerialNumber=JBxxxxxxxxxx
BootLoaderVersion=55259
ApplicationVersionVersionNumber=9430
ApplicationVersion=890926.1
CurrentMap=Central_and_Eastern_Europe
CurrentMapVersion=890.4222

Welcome to Navitotal!!
1. Maps, downloaded from usenet, are 3rd party, not Navitotal. For quality control reasons, Navitotal does not support these maps.
2. Current official navcore for your 630 is 9.510.

Ok. Have downloaded the latest Navcore. Funny thing is it kind of worked late yesterday evening, but as I tried again this morning the same error message. The cards are definitely working (since they worked last night), but when I added a POI file from TomTom Home it is giving me the error messages again. It is getting quite annoying... Anyone got any wondertips? ;)

edit: weird part is that when using tomtom home to control my Go I AM able to switch to another map (sometimes)

TT Home Operate My Device is just a simulation/emulation & shouldn't be used for troubleshooting.

Make sure that your navcore & maps arre patched.

Thanks. Used FastActivate to patch both maps and NavCore but unsuccessful.

Patch 9.510 with these 2 files: 9.510 SE ttsystem.rar

Patch your map with: FastActivate Latest Update 02/09/2013 Put FA.exe & a copy of your ttgo.bif file in the map folder, then run option 2.
