All Maps 970/971

When I am trying to get Europe East the Relink says its partially available. Will it be fully uploaded????

This is the Map I am reffering to : Europe East 970 7466.
Is it only 744 Mb (2 files) as the Relink indicates???
The previous one I had, Europe East 960 was almost 1,7gb!!!!
The exact same type of map other version: Europe East 970 7492 (which by the way has not CSPEECH and ALG and IQ routes) is 1,64 Gb which is approximately the size of the maps of Europe East.
So it must be a mistake and the version Europe East 970 7466 is less than half the actual size.

How do I update maps the easy way instead of paying for the updates is there a quick way of doing this

Western Europe 970 7466 please I have to check first if my tomtom is correct it is a TomTom XXL classic I think

I was wrong its a TomTom XL not an XXL sorry

It just says TomTom XL but I don't know what version it is I will have to wait until I get it back from my brother before I can check

I will attach a picture of the satnav I have to show you which one it is when I get it back and we will go from there okay

A picture won't be necessary. Just open the device's ttgo.bif file with Notepad. The device version is in line 2. DeviceVersionHW=XXXX

XL 30 Series, 1GB, TomTom HOME or XL 325, 1GB, TomTom HOME are the ones when I enter the serial number to find my device

I can't find the usb cable for the satnav
