You might want to check for this map's meta code .
I do not give help by PM. It deprives our other members of a chance to learn. Please post your issue in the appropriate forum/thread. You will get an answer.

A meta code is required to patch a map. I don't find one for this map.

With bootloader 5.5012 or higher installed, you can use any size SDHC card.

1. Setups that run on the SD card do not run on the SDHC card. That eliminates the setups.
2. Your ttgo.bif file shows BL 5.5128. That eliminates a BL issue.
3. The only thing left is the SDHC card. Right click the SDHC card, then Properties to confirm that it is formatted to FAT 32.

yes FAT32, to be sure re-formatted and re-copied all the files .... same problem ... not working

any other things to try ?

the BL will work also with a 32GB SD, as I have another SD maybe to discover if it is the SD I can try the 32GB.... only if we know it works with the BL....

I have tried with a 32GB SD and .... it works ... finally, as you said is the 4GB SD that have some kind of problem.

Hi tendriver,

I have a question: as stated in the quote the map in the 32GB SD works perfectly, I bought another new SD card Ultra PLUS 8GB SanDisk SDHC but when I copy the file exactly as they are from the 32GB into the 8GB and I put it in the TomTom this does not work? why? why it works with greater card but not with smaller where is the problem?

Thanks for your help

They do if you have enough memory for the map you want and a fairly new Navcore.

I am fairly new at all this. Could you please tell me what is a Navcore and the steps to take when I want to update a TOMTOM ONE 3RD EDITION. :)

It is you already been told in post 2 (post150839.html#p150839)
what to do but the only thing you do is asking over and over again.
You are not listening at all.
In post 8 you said I look for the UK
post150839.html#p150839

So following the next procedure

*) Keep the device the way it is with navcore 8.010
--
Use the map
United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland 965.7280
noref.php?url=http://www.relink.to/f/2ac7b2acc7f0f2b840576a7146e6f1
--
1) Make a backup of your Device and delete the map.
--
Copie the chosen map to your Device in his own folder.
If you open the map you see the loose files and probably a folder (brand).
Not a map in a map.
--
2) Copy "FastActivate.exe" to your TomTom device in the root
topic14003.html
Run "FastActivate.exe".
Select 2 and 3
Done
