With the new setup on the 4GB card, please run this little program & post the results here. tomtom-tools-f127/tomtom-current-configuration-2011-t7501.html

yes the sd is a SanDisk Ultra 4GB SDHC

Just to give more info the Fast gives these infos after run:

BIF file .... e:\TTGO.BIF
KeyGen Type : 8
Device Name : TomTom Go
Application 7903
Bootloader 48600
Device ID AK.....
Storage size 3775MB free 2378MB

The tomtom-current-configuration gives this (with the new SD and new conf in the pc as if I put the SD in the tomtom it does not read the sd and ask to format it):

TTGO.BIF:
DeviceName=TomTom GO
DeviceVersionHW=GO
BootLoaderVersion=48600
ApplicationVersionVersionNumber=7903
ApplicationVersion=9183
TTGO.BAK:
Not Found...
TTGO.ORI:
Not Found...
TTNAVIGATOR.BIF:
Not Found...

while if I put the old SD old conf I have:

TTGO.BIF:
DeviceName=TomTom GO
DeviceVersionHW=GO
BootLoaderVersion=55128
ApplicationVersionVersionNumber=7903
ApplicationVersion=9183
TTGO.BAK:
Not Found...
TTGO.ORI:
Not Found...
TTNAVIGATOR.BIF:
Not Found...

Is the BootLoaderVersion the problem?

But if I check the BootLoaderVersion on the TomTom (without the SD by pressing the start/stop more then 5sec) is
s5.5128 clist#300688RVCT

Your GO creates a full new ttgo.bif file EVERYTIME it is booted. The info on the old card is of very limited use.

It was meant to be just an advisory, nothing more.

4- copied the bootloader
- put the old SD in Tomtom and everything is ok, Go starts well and have this parameter:
- App 9.510.
- 32Mb ram
- Boot 5.5128
- Map Western_Europe_1GB_815.2024

1- OK
2- Has 9.510 been patched for this setup?
3- Has 815.2024 been patched for this setup?
4- OK

2- Has 9.510 been patched for this setup? YES, installed on old SD and patched
3- Has 815.2024 been patched for this setup? NO, was already pateched and working on the ols SD with old navcore, do I have to re-patch when I install the map on the new navcore?

OK, I want you to copy this working setup from the old sd exactly as it is and paste it onto the new card exactly as it is. Give it a GO.

to check if I got it, I copy on the new 4Gb SD card all the files that I have on the old SD with this configuration:

- navcore 9.510 for GO on old SD and patched (on the old SD)
- the old map Western_Europe_1GB_815.2024

I will be travelling for businness till Sunday, I will try it on Sunday and post the result

I can only conclude that you have a bad SDHC card. Do you have any other devices [camera etc.] that you can test it with? Or a mate that has a device that you can use.
