Hello,
I'm new in this forum and I have an old gps : TomTom XL LIVE IQ Routes Edition.
It has not been updated since I no longer have the free tomtom maps.
The actual version of the map is Europe_South : 850.2781
I want to update it and i start download : Europe_South_910_4892 with Automatic Installer & Patcher (the first).
After the download, how I update my gps for the first time with this kind of update ?
Tanks in advance for maps.

Just read the first post of this topic.

You really can't miss the large print which gives you information.
If fact, it is meant to give you information.

Yes, I read the post but it don't say if I have to delete my current map or it will be erased by the new map.
First I use FastActivate-02-06-2013 and do step one by one and after I launch "Europe South 910.4892_Installer.part1" to my gps and it say "Probably the disk is full".
I do a backup before and now as I don't know what the extraction has do on the gps, I'm restore it.
Now I want to know : I use FastActivate before or after the map install ?

"Probably the disk is full"

You should start to use logic and common sense!
Why would anything delete your old map?
A simple check with the Windows Explorer will show how much free space there is!

I use FastActivate before or after the map install ?

Shows that you did not bother to read our tutorials or use common sense!
If you want to have a shower - do you turn the water on when you get in the shower or do you turn it on once you are finnished showering and left the shower?

For a novice it's not easy.
I have only 2go internal memory and no sd card reader so delete my previous map.
I use FastActivate before AND after to be sure that it's work.
Now It's work I have the map and I know this is the new because I have one map but how I know if it's work always or just for few days ?
Is there any message when it's doesn't work ?

There will be no message, it will work until you change the map again or manually delete files to corrupt the device.

No help for you is available, due to a total lack of any info (device model, current navcore & map, etc) from you.

To answer you question: The easiest way is using Windows Explorer and to copy it to your TT.
The correct way is by reading the infos provided in the map thread.
