Hi!
Auto dl & patch version of Europe_910_4892 installed map but after Fastactivate updated the meta data and completed the usual process I found that it had not successfully patched the map.

(I also have US_905_4805 and UK&ROI_905_4754 on the same card and they are successfully patched and working well.)

I retried Fastactivate again, but it appears not to 'see' the Europe map.

I am running Navcore 945 on a TT One XL with 8Gb SHDC. Computer speech is working well as are speedcams etc. I'd just like to get this Europe map working. Help will be welcome, Thanks.

I'm sure the big boys will reply and help you out shortly, but in the meantime make sure you are using the latest fast activate 23 august. i would also copy the meta file for the map using notepad and rename it meta.txt and include it in the map folder and then use fast activate.

If you are using auto-install there is no reason for fastactivate. Also make sure that your anti-virus is off. Sometime it thinks patch is a virus.

Europe_915_5074, United_States_2GB_915_5074 & United_Kingdom_and_Republic_of_Ireland_915_5074 are current & usable.

The auto-install put the map onto the card, and as far as I could tell went through the usual process, but it did not activate. Then tried Fastactivate which didn't succeed. I don't think the av is the prob as USA and UK maps activated OK. But thanks for your reply.

Thanks! That worked a treat.

It seems to me that this meta is not included in the list that Fastactivate holds/downloads. I say 'seems', but I'll leave it to others if they want to investigate further - it's working for me and I'm now ready for a trip to Greece.

I'm also obliged to all others here; who have helped me (at 73 years old) to persuade an ageing One XL to accept an 8Gb SDHC card, run Navcore 945 with 910 maps (I'll try 915 when I've downloaded them) and to work wonderfully well with computer speech. That last was really useful.

Thanks once again!

P.S. I put the meta.txt in the root not map folder.

You have done well and we are all proud and happy for you.

1. Up-dating the FA intergrated meta.txt file with FA option 1 will eliminate the need to do this 95 out of 100 times.
2. This is OK, if you also include FA.exe & your ttgo.bif file.

Thanks, but I got it working OK by following Dieselman's tips; see my earlier reply. Indeed, I had previously used the update meta.txt option in Fastactivate, but it did not seem to have found this particular meta.

Once again, a 'thank you' for taking an interest in my problem and for the work and very useful information that you all contribute.

Best Regards.

I include the meta file in the map folder now as a matter of course as I've been caught out before in the 5 times out of 100.
I know it's probably a waste of time on most occasions but it doesn't do any harm. Belt and braces comes to mind.

Yes, it's a waste of time, but to each is own.
