Maps are compatible with navcores & memory size, not devices. There is a chart in All New Maps 895.XXXX post 1 that covers navcore and map compatiblity.

thanks,
but in the chart for 895 maps there is no map for navcore 8010. May I change the navcore ?
I tried the map 885.4058 compatible whith navcore 8010, I patched it with fast activate v 1.8.8.7. All was right but my tt says "you can't use that map with this device". What is wrong ?
You have my config in the attached file of my first post.
Thanks

You already answered your question : 1.8.8.7 is outdated, that is why the current version is linked in the map thread.
Please pay more attention to the instructions already provided when you download our files.

I need west europe, and now, it works with the 885.4058 patched with 1.8.9.0 as you suggested. Thanks.
But isn't not possible with an earliest map ?

Yes, in fact, it works fine with the 895.4444, exept the old mapsetting.cfg that makes the tt bugs. Why ?
First, i tried the 895.4444 with a SDHC card that is not compatible. Now I know it.
And why the navcore 8010 isn't in the chart of 895XXXX maps ?

Thank you very much

There are many NC's not listed as we only use the most recent ones pkus the ones where you can see it is needed, like the 8.2xx.
That indicates that all Navcore above that will support this map version and that all Navcores below won't.
Same for the 9.02x with another feature change.
Since most of our users prefer to use a 9.xx NC [for older devices) instead of the official NC it makes no real sense to keep all NC versions in the chart.

SDHC compatibilty is a matter of using the correct bootloader - 5.5120 or 5.5128 is a good choice.

For the mapsettings.cfg problem we have a tutorial about reboot problems, and also on how to keep your favourites when changing from an old NC to a V9 NC.

My TT with my old mapsettings.cfg works fine now, using TThome as you suggested.
I'll try later the 9XXXX NC.
I have downloaded your 9430 NC I'll tried with the new maps 900.XXXX
Lots of thanks for all
