If you can see your current location on the map then you've finished installing it, so don't worry about ttnavigator now.

Voices go in the Voice folder, Some voices need to be patched like the maps did.

It is not a good idea to have too many voices and poi's installed at the same time because it slows your device down

when you patched do i have to use fast active.exe to patch. i.e how do you patch. so i have learned fair bit to get this far. could not have done it withour your help. many thanks

Only premium voices need to be patched, The procedure is EXACTLY the same as patching the map.

By the way you cannot use TTS or computer voices on Tomtom Navigator

so where can i download the voices from. i only have jane to navigate me. any celeb voices. i would appreciate a direct link to where the binatone compatible voices are. many thanks

Download the celebrity voices from the link I just gave you, don't download any of the TTS or computer voices

thanks. link did not work yesterday. so if understand this right. copy voices in the memory card folder called voices and then fastactive.exe is this correct. many thanks

also the voices , should the chk and vif file be placed in voices or should they have individual folder in voices also should i insert the image that comes with the voice or is that not needed. thanks again

Extract all the files from the archive and copy all the files (not folders) to the voice folder, If it's a premium voice you will need to run the activation tool. the post that you download the voice from should tell you if they're premium voices or not.
