Important note for the 890 maps - please help!

Postby Downunder35m » Thu May 24, 2012 8:59 am

For this version of maps things have changed a bit and we need the help of everone again to provide the maps in a way that they work.
You might have noticed that new are popping up but that only for a few maps the META CODES will be available.
We need the help of all users that bought a 890 map or have the free upgrade for one.

If you have a geniune 890 map provided on a new device or from TT itself please share some information that is needed:
From the mapfolder pack the [color=#006400].tlv . meta
and .pna file into an archive and upload it to a hoster of your choice - please send a PM with the download link to me.
The more information we get the sooner all maps will be available with a working meta for correct activation.
At this stage only maps posted with a meta code can be used.

Thanks for your help!

Hi,
I agree with you: my carminat 8.842 isn't able to see Italia 890.4222 even after patching as usual.
I've used fastactivate for a while and no problem so far. What's wrong with it?
Fastactivate says OK for .dct but in TT menu "change map" icon is shadowed!!
Best regards

Edit:
I've seen that for Iberia there are two different kind of maps. The one for Carminat has a different code. So it is very likely it is going to be the same for Italy and the other. Sorry for my post and looking forward for the right Italy for Carminat user i want to thank you all very much.
bye

Is there further development to the meta code investigation to version 890 maps? The expert team must be working very hard these days. Thank you.:thumbup::thumbup:

Hi

How about instructions for
"upload it to a hoster of your choice - please send a PM with the download link to me"
Never used a "hoster" before
Cheers

Filefactory, Rapidshare, Uploaded, zippyshare - it all works the same:
You go on their website and klick the upload button, select the file and off you go.
