Help To Download A Map ?

Thu Nov 15, 2012 11:45 am

Hi,

Can anyone please advise me how to get past all the guff and advertising with misleading download links from iLivid and other advertising bolleaux to actually download a map. Every link I try seems to pollute all the web pages with adverts and I just cannot seem to get to the actual download files. Is it some sort of initiative test whereby you do not deserve to have the map unless you can find your way to the download link?

Thx
Dushy

Don't click on the adverts which usually show as a download button, the more obvious it is, the less likely it's the right button.

Yes, sure, I am avoiding the big download buttons, it seems that every other clickable object is an advert. I must have spend an hour wasting my time with this

I [Please Register or Login to download file] from here and installed it. Unfortunately I got an error: You cannot use this map on this device: Eastern_Europe

What can I do to fix it?

---------------------------------------------
Eastern_Europe_900_4608 [280MB] OR
Eastern_Europe_900_4608 with Automatic Installer & Patcher

You could start by reading the tutorials and informations provided in the map and Navcore threads.

Your map is not patched, unless there is a .meta.dct file in the map folder.

Thanks!

For some reason (I don't know why) FastActivate (11/2012) couldn't download meta.txt file so I had to use Easy Activator5.

Also, I couldn't patch ((is it because there is no meta info available yet ?)
Europe_Central_900_4608 [861MB] OR
Europe_Central_900_4608 with Automatic Installer & Patcher

4. PS. The patching process isn't straight forward because of the multiple options for patching and maps .... Also there is no clear document with exact steps.. my 2 cents

1. FastActivate has not had the update feature for quite a while. FastActivate Premium 1.8.9.0 Updated 20.11.2012 Note 1 covers this issue.
Note 1: if you have a new meta code what is not in the integrated meta.txt dated (See in program for date of current meta.txt integrated)
You must put all new meta codes in a file named META.TXT and copy it to the Device/SD-Card ROOT Directory or keep it same directory with FastActivate.exe.

2. This issue is covered in the Download Instructions found in All New Maps 900.XXXX post 1.

3. Eastern_Europe_900_4608 is what I recommended to you in post 9.

4. FastActivate Premium 1.8.9.0 Updated 20.11.2012 only has 2 methods.
