I have a tomtom one...N14644...and I have never updated. Now I work a job where I am constantly swapping vehicles..purchased a newer unit a few days ago...but wanting to get the latest maps for usa possible. Can you point me in the right direction?

Needing correct map, meta, etc etc.

I have downloaded the latest without realizing the meta was not out yet, and getting confused on which one to use.

Oh, so 890 are not working atm?
Can you post 885 for brazil? The links I found are broken.

I believe my version is 8.017 so it's map 885.4022

2. It refers to USA 890 maps. aisoasiw2 asked about Brazil 890 maps!!

Anything below post 3 in the collections threads are 3RD PARTY. Navitotal does not support them!!

So, I'm also new here so I'll ask here.

I want to install map 855.4022
I got FastActivate premium 1.8.8.7 ran it without errors.

Then I ran the installer exe from "Brazil_885.4022 with Automatic Installer & Patcher "

But I can't use the map. Did I miss something?

There's a new folder "Brazil_855.4022" in addition to the original "Brazil".
Should I delete the original and rename the new one?

Was FastActivate started and used after map was installed?
Is a .dct file created inside the map folder?
You might want use Windows Explorer to search for all *.dct files on your device and delete them.
Start FA again update the meta and activate maps, voices and speedcams.

1. So where did you get your incorrect info? Brazil 890.4224 is compatible with ALL navcores. It has the meta code posted, is patchable & usable!!
2. You can remove both of them, when you install Brazil 890.4224.

I ran FastActivate again clicked on all options.
I searched for all .dct files (there were 4) and deleted them.
I ran FastActivate once more with all options.

The device seems the same. I default to the old map.

"Before you begin back up upur SD card. The only two files you need on your SD card are ttgo.bif and ttsystem
You just need to download and run the file on your computer."

I just backup the device with TomTom Home

This image doesn't mention 8.01x, like the 885 chart, so I just assumed.

By remove, do you mean delete the folders? I'll try that.

Yes, after deleting the dct files and running FastActivate, I deleted the original map (the folder "Brazil")
Now there's a folder "Brazil_855.4022" (don't know why it is 855 instead of 885, though)

It works correctly.
Since 890.4224 is also compatible, I'll try them later, and post the results.

1. The folder name is irrelevant. You can name it anything.

2. Your TTCurrentConfig shows that you still have Brazil 835.2366 installed.
