Please be more specific.
Is the NC patched correctly, do you have a .dct files for the map created?
What is the error message on the device?

yes for all. But the card is not available under "switch card".
maybe the card is only for NC 9x

If the map folder is correct, e.g. the map folder is not located in a sub folder but directly in the root than it should be correct.
Maybe it is worth to wait a few more days until a valid map chart is available or you could try a different map.

Is there a chart for the 890 series to show what maps work with what devices, for example, my basic wince Navigo.
Thanks

Can someone please help me. Every time I try to download a map from here I forget how I did it the previous time. When I follow the link it only wants me to download some software that I don't trust. Is there a way to go direct to the map files?
Thanks
