I downloaded and installed "United_States_2GB_865_3245 with Automatic Installer & Patcher" to my TomTom XL IQ Routes Edition (9.061.576030.2) but I get a notification "You cannot use this map on this device". Is the version of the map incompatible with my device or is something gone wrong with my installation. If the former is true, what would be the best map that covers the USA to my device?

The Automatic Installer & Patcher auto-installs the map, but does not auto-patch it. You must manually run the patcher. If your 9.061 navcore has not been patched, then do so at the same time you patch the map.

May I suggest that you download a current 870 version of USA & C from All New Maps 870.XXXX.
