There will not be a release of a new Australia map until v855

Hi,
First of all, thank you for the great job you've done so far.
I have just tried to activate the following map on my GO950 but it's not working. I tried with both provided tools (TomTom Keygen 2010 4.1D and EasyActivator5 v0.57.21) without success

France 850.2781
; France_850_2781
6B D0 47 3F EE B9 B2 AE 7A 10 F7 40 D7 A0 25 02 France-161.meta

With the Tomtom Keygen, I can't even update the meta file, the program keeps telling that "there was a error downloading the meta file try again later"
With the EasyActivator, everything seems to work fine but when I try to use the map on my Tomtom, I have the following message : "You can not use this map on this device : France-161"

If anyone could help me...

Ok there are 2 things you need to have done to patch a map,

• Firstly you must create a .dct file in the map folder with 1 of the keygens (I reccomend keygen 4.1D)
• Secondly (This is the step i think you have missed) you must patch your navcores "ttsystem" file or use a pre-patchd SE version,


Please confirm if you have completed any of these steps above if not we can then move on to the next step,

No, the meta is still not released. Someone has to buy the Western and Central Europe 850.2800 map, and only then he can make the meta file. But since this map is not available yet on the TT website, no one can make this meta. So we have to wait until TT release this map. And nobody knows when that will be .

Still one question remaining: where is this map (which is posted everywhere) coming from? I asked the uploader, but he/she didn't want to tell where it came from.

Ohhhh... son of a B! That's exactly the map I'm d/l (on last file right now) and I completely forgot about meta file!! Hopefully it won't be a total waste of time...

Also, what's the difference between North America 2GB 850.2781 and North America 850.2781? Next on my list to d/l :-)

None except the 2GB version is for 2GB memories.

Thanks! I have EU & US maps on my SD card, but cannot utilize speech due to size... not to mention I'm using POI from 920 on my 720 TT.

Have to admit, this is one of the cleanest sites I came across.... keep it up!

Actually the 2GB one is smaller because it lacks some details in the map (little drawn elements like bridges, lakes and streams, small paths, contours of buildings etc.) The road detail is exactly the same however.
