Update TomTom1 v3 (1GB) Navcore 8.016

Hi everyone it's been a while. I have recently driven from the UK down to Almeria, southern Spain. My maps are hopelessly out of date. Is it possible to update Western Europe map on this device as the maps seem larger than the 1 Gb of space that I have. If it is possible, as I am not very good at this sort of thing precise instructions would be appreciated.

Europe is no longer possible you can try the following country,s
United_Kingdom_and_Republic_of_Ireland
France_Zone_4
Iberia

You have to change from map if you are in one of those countries,s
Complete map from France is too big you have to use a zone

Zone 1
Zone 2
Zone 3
Zone 4

Follewing the next procedure exactly point for point

*) Recommended Nc_9.540_SE_UK_NL_76 MB
[Please Register or Login to download file]

1) Make a backup of your Device and delete the content.
--
2) Unpack the* navcore (winrar ) and place folders and files on your Device.
--
3) Reset The Device (minimal 15 sec) and start it till the announcement "No map found"
--
4) Copie the chosen maps to your Device in his own folder.
If you open the map you see the individual files and probably a folder (brand).
Not a map in a map.

5) Copy "FastActivate.exe" + meta.txt to your device (the root)

Thank-you Holyhead I have completed all the steps that you outlined. Tomtom seems to be upgraded and all 3 maps are installed and working as far as I can tell. I have run a quick Demo. The only thing that is missing is the speed / radar cameras. Can you advise how to install these. I have downloaded the world speed cameras (TOMTOM BLITZER WORLD & EUROPE ZUSAMENGEFAST 24.08.2018.rar) but cannot find the UK, France and Iberia folders. I am probably doing something wrong.

After installation your device has proberly not much RAM left

When your device is up and running do the follewing
Main menu 4 of 4
Tap
Emular X50
The Device restart

Everything working as it should including speed/radar cameras.

ONCE again thank-you very much Holyhead and I hope this is of use to our other members, as it has made my redundant TomTom One as good as new. Sorry it is better than new as I now have the new features of Navcore 9.540, Fantastic.
