TomTom XXL 540 device

Postby bondy99 » Fri May 26, 2023 9:10 am

Greetings people,

I have an old TomTom XXL540 device which I have been using for long time.

I have noticed recently that these NAV devices have now been categorized into different levels.

I only discovered few days ago my device falls under NAV2 category.

I have been using TomTom Australia maps that have IQ and some other component. The maps I have been using are in the light green colour on the compatible chart.

Question is do I need to obtain a new TomTom device in case maps for NAV2 devices become like that of the dodo ?

I'd say all the time you can continue getting suitable maps for your NAV2 (for free!) then stick with it. If it ain't broke, don't fix it :045:

All the time the maps are available our techies WILL get the metas for them even if they're not all posted here, the latest tools have them available/inbuilt anyway
