Postby shy007 » Mon Aug 13, 2018 8:00 pm

Hi guys, i bought a old TT one for my sister.

I put a New bootloader on it, and the same navcore, and map that ive installed on my TT.( Works really Nice BTW)

I also installed a New battery, i also did mine, but mine had no problems.

The problem is, when in driving with her TT , after a hour or so , the TT shuts down, and starts again.

Icant explain IT, do you guys know Whatsapp tot Do to solve this?

I did exacly the same steps with mine, but u dont have problems.

Hope you can help me my Friends.

Im now on vacation, but i noticed this on the way.

Thankyou lads.

The device is probably running out of available RAM which causes it to reboot...

Obviously a TT ONE is only a 32MB device so it really depends on exactly which navcore & map you've installed and the length of the journey you've planned into the device as to what will occur.

I'm assuming you've installed NC 9.510 on the 32MB device but that was really only designed for 64MB devices, so I'd recommend installing a specially modified NC 9.510 that contains an in-built swap file which should correct the problem.

Use one of Holyhead's NC's that you can find in this post:

....you could try removing your mapsettings.cfg from the memory or running clearflash.exe 3 times allowing a reboot after each run? [Please Register or Login to download file]

Hi guys, i think something else is the problem.
I Just wanted to type a adress, and it froze again, and after that i rebooted again.

Then after the restart, i saw a little message in the upper corner that he couldn't write to SD.
After 2 seconds or so the message dissapears and ik could type the adress.

This time is worked well.

What do you think, iets a brandnew class 10 SD card.
I used the same on my own TT.

I hope you guys have a Idea.

Thnx lads.

I think it's got an internal problem with the RAM or something else which can't be fixed easily I'm afraid
