I am from Tunisia I bought a tomtom xxl but I can not find maps tunisia and algeria
is that someone can save me I've done thousands of research and you're my last hope

Did you patch the navcore with FastActivate option 3?

If not place FastActivate in root > run it and select option 3 > wait for patch successful message

No, you don't have to delete the old maps if you don't want to...but you didn't answer my question above:

Did you patch the navcore with FastActivate option 3?

Also, what version of navcore (software) is installed on your XXL...it should be 9.510 or 9.541 but read the following if you don't know how to find out?
