Difference between maps?

Can somebody explain difference between those maps:

Europe_West_1050_10256
Europe_West_1050_10257

If I look at the chart those maps should be the same.

Europe_West 1050_10257
and without a metacode activation of a map is not possible.
So instead use
Western_Europe 1050_10231

Or is Europe_West 1050_10257 and Western_Europe 1050_10257 not the same map....
