Navigon 2100

I have a navigon 2100. I want to know what is the latest software that can run on this gps? Looks like version 7 is the latest, but i do not know if it will work on my device. Right now i have version 6.5.2. ce version r00.u.0914 program version 080502-0218 What is the latest maps that can run on the gps after the software update?

You can use the most current maps. Don't use the high versions of the Mapdrawer and RealityView, text and icons in the map will be too big.
Maps and software can be updated independently.
Always use the NFS that come with the maps. If you have NFS files, which do not come with the new maps, keep the old one. Do the same for the files in the POI folder. Use new when available, if not keep the old one. In case of an error, remove temporarily to find the origin.
