Current iGO Primo UK maps download

I'm tearing my hair out here trying to find the maps to download. I'm logged on correctly as confirmed at the top of the page and go to the iGO section and click on "Maps, buildings, dem, POI". I then click on the link for Europe, then United Kingdom, then the link below the message re hidden content for members which takes me to a file sharing site of dubious heritage which I don't fancy clicking on.

What am I doing wrong?

Specifically which Europe map set, BTW the torrent for the navteq set works OK

Just torrent the Europe ones and grab the UK maps only

Unfortunately, clicking on this link brings up the message "error - site blocked"

Yes it would in the UK, use a proxy service...

Thanks, can you talk me through using a proxy server as I haven't a clue.

Maybe try https://www.tunnelbear.com/ and select whatever country is allowed. 500MB download free to start you off. Or maybe download the Tor browser.

You only need a proxy to access the torrent file, then you can download as normal.

Google free proxies, there are 1000's of them.

Basically you go to a web page, input the URL of the blocked page and you can view it through the proxy and download the torrent file,

Then open the torrent file in your torrent client as normal.

As always, make sure your malware protection is up to date.

Whatever you are doing wrong I am doing the same, every link brings up suspect websites or sticks me in endless advertising loops. I am desperate for current uk maps after a rebuild.

If your ISP is blocking torrent search sites try this also another option is getting the Tor browser.
