Buildings stopped showing

after getting everything to work
i installed new TT maps Q3 off here
now buildings have all gone any ideas ???
all files etc are there but no buildings showing on Primo

changed settings?

done all map settings etc must be something on sys.txt

Set up new maps AND new buildings or kept the old ones?
I am more thinking of a missing license than a sys.txt flaw.



Rename the save folder to save old and do the set up again. You can do it minimal just to let the program function and show 3D or not show.

Map's .fbl files and Buildings 3dl/3dc files must be from the same release in order the work.
Are you sure you also downloaded the new 3dl/3dc files with your new fbl map files and replaced the old ones with the ones you downloaded in the Buildings folder. Also make sure you have one release in your content folders, HERE and TT maps/buildings files don't mix well together.

Really? I did not have a problem with that. All files in the same folder should be from the same maker so all 3dc and 3dl should be either TT/TA or HERE while all fbl, fda, fpa, etc should also be. But not necessarily the same make as the POI or buildings.

Building files are somewhat incomplete, I find teleatlas (TomTom) are better than navteq (here)

Did you go from teleatlas to navteq?

For ages in the UK the best building for was teleatlas from 2010.

Buildings ONLY show up in major metropolitan areas. Is that your problem?

yes was showing before
and yes in major city etc i just get a red footprint where buildings use to be
