I have a speedcam file that I can post, but it is quite a few years old. I have been updating the WA speedcams as I go, so unless you are in WA it won't be up to date.

I have the Australia_NewZealand_HERE_2023-Q2 https://www.navitotal.com/post195659.html which includes speedcam files and all the other extras but I think it will not work because as nabi told us back in 2012 -
"that map files and associated 'extra' files (FDA, HNR, etc) must all be of the
same release/date in order to work together."
I did try combining the files but got problems. :(
I was hoping the original poster would add the extras from 2024Q2 if they had them or if anyone else has them.

Speed Cam files are a .txt file that can be edited with Notepad.
Some info on updating speedcam in this post [Please Register or Login to download file]
Basically I just worry about the GPS co-ordinates and end up with an entry like 115.71466,-32.89868,2,0,0,0
As for the map and 'extra' files, all I do is replace all those with the same file extension as the updated files. Seems to work fine with a mix of different releases.

Thank you for the reply, since my last post I have been able to get the speed cameras working, but I am still having problems with the speed limits now. On the back streets they don't seem to show up, but on main roads they work, which is strange.

The speed limit files which are .fsp files do not exist in "HERE 2024-Q2" and the ones from "HERE_2023-Q2" are only for the main roads so back streets do not work, I have an old file from 2018 which works but as you know the limits can change over the years so the old files become less accurate over time.

This upload "HERE 2024-Q2" is missing a lot of data and those who are just uploading by keeping the old files will have outdated map data.

The only way anyone is going to overcome this is by purchasing the updated maps direct from Navieextras directly. Unless someone in Australia has the latest updates and willing to share. From what "nyky" was stating earlier Australia 2025.Q1 map is out. Being October 2025, the 2025.Q1 map would be superseded.

When I had NavieExtras tool attached to one of my IGO GPS devices, it said Australia Map 2025.Q4 map available, Map provider is TomTom.
Yet, map provider should be HERE.

After more research and trial and error I have discovered that the .fsp files do not alone enable the speed limits the speed limits are inside the main map file .fbl.
It has been years since I tried updating my this map file and when I attempted to update back then I noticed that the back streets did not show the speed limits (the updates were all HERE maps) so I went back to the 'Australia_TomTom_2018.12_190301.fbl' since then I assumed it was something to do with my program settings but now I am thinking that 'Here' maps just don't include back street speed limits, for what reason I don not know.
I have not been able to get an updated TomTom map to test my theory. Although one was available (TomTom 2022 Q2) here- maps-buildings-dem-poi/igo-australia-and-new-zealand-tomtom-2022-t23145.html If anyone has a newer than 2018 TomTom please PM me.
So if the Australia Map 2025.Q4 is TomTom this would be a good thing.

Back street limits are not generally shown as they are 50kph unless marked.

So the speed limit warnings do not work in the back streets, very bad idea.
I am hoping the new TomTom maps still have the back street speed limits, if we ever get to see it here.

Last time I used a TomTom map it seemed to have everywhere that wasn't a highway or speed signed road with a limit of 50kph.
Speed warnings were occurring out across the paddock where there was no roads, or on unsigned, unpaved roads where in QLD the limit is 100kph.
Haven't used TT maps since, this was a few years ago, perhaps they've fixed it since then.

The TomTom I am currently using is from 2018 and seems good in Western Sydney, although some of the limits have changed from 2018 the back streets are working. In sydney most places that are not assigned limits are 50kph so I see what they did there. I guess like all maps it depends on where you are as to whether they are good for you.
When I used the HERE maps for a short time I would look down to see what the limit was where I was and there was nothing displayed, this was quite annoying. With the TomTom I can look down now at any time and see what the speed limit is.

I wish that iGO had put the speed limits in a separate file from the maps and not dependent on the map file, this way we could turn them off or add them in certain areas/roads like I do with the red light cameras.
I will be interested to see if the newer maps are TomTom as someone stated above and if they have the back street 50 limits.

If anyone has any TomTom .fbl files newer than 2018 PM me, I would like to try them and see if the back streets are on there.

Pretty sure it was a 2018 map last time I used a TomTom map too.
That was in western Queensland, in the towns & built up areas it showed 50kph as the limit everywhere except where it was signed as 60kph like a main highway through a town etc..
Unfortunately though, it seemed the 50kph limit was applied to anywhere in the countryside, roads, sealed or unsealed without speed signs, and as mentioned above, out across the paddocks where no roads existed.
Travelling 100 or so k's between towns on minor, single lane roads it showed a limit of 50kph and constant speeding warnings which got annoying pretty quick.
I figured it was just laziness by whoever was responsible for entering the speed info into the map data and haven't used them since.

Yea that would be pretty annoying. Like I said above, it depends on where you live as to which map is best to use. Funnily enough when I saw no limit on the back streets with the HERE maps I thought they were being lazy for not putting them in. I think we need a third provider who will do it properly.
