Kenwood 5260BT map install

Hi,

Does anyone know how to install new maps on a Kenwood 5260BT?
It's not like a xx20-series with a seperate USB port on the back, I will have to use a Micro SD card.

You dont im afraid . The mapping software is pre installed and the only way is through Kenwood/Garmin SD update . Have the same myself and wish it could be done .

First you have to download the 2011.30 unlocked maps. (torrent) Put them on a 4GB sd-card. Select in your device the right map (2011.30) It works for me.

have kenwood DNX5260BT - lovely device.
I have updated maps and speedcams for Ireland & UK to the latest 2013.
After that sat nav navigation - somethimes is working ok , somethimes going to radio mode only. When i press NAV button - blank screen.
I have updated software to the latest 2.50 as well. Works again but after when i turn off my car and then come back after 10-20 mins - sat nav is not working again..

I`m not a newbie in Garmin sat nav systems but I`m stuck on that issue ...
Can anyone help ?

Problem SOLVED

Have to delete POI folder to make that works well.

I have updated firmware for Kenwood.

I have just purchased a car which has this unit, Have downloaded the firmware updates etc but need to know which map to download im looking for europe but not sure which one it is
