Igo Primo on Ipad 2

Tue Jun 14, 2011 11:44 am

I have Igo primo 9.4.2.188415 on my Ipad 2.
I want to put POI and speedcams in it but no no success. I use DiskAid to copy files to the Ipad. But Igo primo dosent respond.

Is there anyone else who managed to set their own POI and speedcams in Igo primo for iPad / Iphone.

Added maps not working.

I managed to add a poland.fbl and a poland.fda file but Igo primo says it is inactive content, but the primo found it at least.

Sorry but I don't know anything about an Ipad. Incidentally, what's the operating system? You spoke about an iPhone in the OP, is there anything in that section that could help/apply? Perhaps you should post there. :scratch_one-s_head_

the iPad 2 is not jailbroken yet...

so any unsigned code will not be executed...
perhaps this is your problem...

I have had some success editing apps and app data with PhoneView
on my iPhone 4 (NOT jailbroken) running iOS 5.0b1

might be worth a try here...

Hi

I have managed to modify data.zip and sys.txt on ipad 2 with ios 5.01

You don't need to jailbreak the unit.
You can use iphone explorer to copy file to Navigation folder where is igo.
You need mac system to this this, it doesn't work on windows

First of all, you need either a GPS chip in your iPad or an external antenna to use your iPad as a navigational device.

all iPad can use A-GPS or Assisted GPS a fancy way of using either Wifi or Cell towers to pinpoint your location

to have real GPS you need the 3G version not the WiFi

although there are 3rd party products available that can add real GPS to your device
