tomtom europe custom maps is nice, all maps of europe (incl. greece russia and turkey) in it, but he forgot -or didn't want- to add speed camera files in it.. that's very important nowadays :)

Can someone help me get the red light cams for ANY TT 1.8 US map to work? I'm currently using US & Canada. I copied over the 4 safety cam files that were in TT 1.6 but they aren't recognized? I'm guessing a new .dct file is needed?

Thanks! for all the stuff..

mmh the TomTom U.S. Canada 1.8 is not working. start and close right away.. So must look for a other one..
I tried europe and US/Canada version 1.7 and 1.8 but not working.
Had already 1.5 europe on it and that works fine.. mhh What can it be?
IOS 4.3.1. anybody a idea?

Yes, you need to jailbreak your gadget in order to use the TomTom gps apps. As the matter of fact, once the gadget is jailbroken, you may very well be able to download the gps apps from there. That is to say, you don't need to download the apps provided here for your gps inquiry.
